i cant decide which to build, ive always liked fast outrageous looking cars, and customs have always been my favorite flavor. lately i see this 36 as a tail dragger, some custom sheet metal,on air with skirts.please help before i sell the fenders. thanks, confused

IMO, a 36 needs fenders! It's more of a custom than a hot rod. The lines are just too sleek to take the fenders off!!

Belted white walls, paint, fenders, skirts, chop and no air.

should i use a stock frame or build one, i have a really nice complete 37 frame, but i would have to **** the rails in 1.5" ,but the kickups and contours look correct, im sure i can get her low with a diff front suspension and coil over rear without molesting the rails . i have a couple m2 fronts but was thinking more of the 4" drop tube buggy spring i also have.

It's usually easier to modify than start from scratch. I would use what you have and make that thing a tail draggin beast!!

Tunnel rams and customs don't jive at all. In fact a tunnel ram that sticks through the hood doesn't work with a chopped top for me. Way too much of looking like the builder had no idea of what he was doing but wanted to be one of the cool guys in the process.
A good running but not too radical 440 with road gears will run just about any other car around into the ground out on the long highway. A sneaky sled that will run with anything on the freeway would be a lot of fun.

Keep the fenders for sure. I would try to keep it all Mopar, but that's just me. You will probably need to c-notch the frame if you want to drag the tail. Do you have any pics? In my opinion, m2 and air ride is not a problem if you keep the fenders. Good luck in deciding!

Custom for sure. If you remove fenders from a '36 I will find you and destroy you.

Lowering your car without using airbags. You drive it as low as it sits.
