IT'S FINAL, WE HAVE OUR NEW 5 AXIS CNC LASER CUTTING MACHINE INSTALLED.

THIS MACHINE IS MADE BY MITSUBISHI, MODEL VZ-20 WITH A 60 X 120 TABLE. IT HAS 4000 WATS OF OUTPUT POWER, ENOUGH TO CUT .750 INCH THICK STEEL.

IT IS 5 AXIS WHICH MEANS THE CUTTING HEAD CAN ARTICULATE IN ALL DIRECTIONS.

IT IS GOING TO USED TO THE TRIM THE METAL STAMPINGS PRIOR TO SHIPMENT. OUR OLD ONE WAS WORN OUT AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.

THIS NEW MACHINE WILL ALLOW US TO INCREASE TO QUALITY OF THE CUT, PROVIDE MORE OPTIONS TO CUSTOMERS AND CONTROL COSTS OF PRODUCTION.

WE ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TO MANUFACTURE IN THE USA AND SPEED OF PRODUCTION IS IMPORTANT AND ONLY THE BEST EQUIPMENT WILL DO THIS.

IT WAS ORDERED IN FEB OF 2011 AND DELIVERED LAST MONTH OCT, 2011

IT HAS BEEN A CHALLENGING PROJECT, GETTING THE MACHINE SHIPPED HALF WAY AROUND THE WORLD AND PREPARING THE BUILDING AND UTILITIES AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT. ALOT OF WORK THE INSTALL HAS TAKEN 4 WEEKS.

P.S IT COSTS $800K TO BUY AND UP TO $1000 A DAY TO OPERATE

IT REQUIRES 200 AMPS OF 480 VOLT POWER, 15CFM OF 90PSI AIR, PLUS LOTS OF INDUSTRIAL GASES LIKE NITROGEN, OXYGEN, ARGON, SOME OF THE G***ES ARE REGULAR WELDING STYLE AND SOME ARE SPECIAL LASER GRADE GAS.

As the owner of a rusted to **** '51 Chevy, I am very pleased to see anything that will make EMS products even better. All of the repair panels on my car- if I don't make them, you will.

The first reaction we tend to have when we learn the price of a reproduction part is to think we are being gouged. $800,000.00 just for the machine. $1,000.00 a day to run it. It is a wonder we can afford to buy repo parts at all. I hope they run it 20 hours a day 7 days a week and can make the payments on it. In terms of what is available and for how much, these are the "good old days" of hot rodding right now.

who ever decided that useing all caps. means the writer is yelling was or is an ***. i find it easer to read quickly. when i write with a pen or pencil, i do it in caps. when i get a set of blue prints to look over, it's allways in caps. this is most likely a tecnical person who started this post. these are the types of things women like to complain about.

An 80.00 used horizontal band saw and 20.00 worth of bearings and another 20.00 for a blade was a major investment for me.
Wow what can we dream up to have him make with that machine.

I had to dig up the website to see what they did make and there is a lot.

if you wanna see if a company is serious about making sure they produce quality parts just ask them if they just bought an $800k machine.
