I bought some Kwik Wire stuff at their booth at Nats North, and found them helpful and pleasant. Sounds like you bought stuff knowing it wasn't compatible with your non GM componants, and you are pissed because the stuff doesn't plug and play and expect them to bail you out. Well, figure it out.

As far as the HAMB not being an English (note the capitalization) class, if you could read, speak, and write with clarity, perhaps you'd have understood what you were purchasing, what it was compatible with, and how to install it.

    I'm just say'n...

It's interesting when people from a country that doesn't use English as their primary language can write it better than those here in the USA.

Best I can tell it was about 12 years ago, people have always caught shit for bad grammar and misspelling on the HAMB.

you have it all wrong! you must not be able to read because the instructions have prints for ford mopar and gm switches. i have installed many of these kits at my shop and the people that have bought the kits from me have nothing but high regards for them. i know these people personally and they would never treat someone the way you said you were treated. i just think you are way over your head wiring a car and want to blame someone else for it.

In 1996 I purchased a 14 circuit from, at the time Saints Wire Works. Me and a friend installed it and everything worked fine until you put the key to accessory, dead as a doornail. After calling them we find out that accessory only comes on the 21 circuit harness. We were told that they never had a complaint before and basicly it was our problem. It took 18 inches of wire and one connector to right the problem. Due to their attitude it was the last one I bought from them. The dome light wire colors were flip -flopped also but figured why bring it up when he really did'nt want to talk to me anyways. Hope things are better now-a-days.

  20. Im lazy, and pay someone to do my wiring. lol. :D
As to the good and bad English, when i joined the hamb, i was watching and learning. I noticed that a lot of people dont use puntuation, so i copied.
After seeing others pulled up about it, and myself a few times, i got with the program, as i did well in school in this area.
So i want to say thanks to the good hambers who pull us up on such matters. It makes us better humans. ;)

You missed the apostrophe in I'm and that should be punctuation...and capital I...but you got most of it correct, seeing as how you're in New Zealand...thanx for being so cognizant.

when i was installing remote starters, the Ford branded products had 42 wires.the documents supplied were less than clear understanding,
but another product i installed had 13.
I have never had the luxury of a factory made wiring kit when i wired a few vehicles, although wiring diagrams are helpful,if i have gone as far as wanting to rewire a car,i would hope a person has the skills required to complte the project.

I worked in parts sales with a guy named Joe,he was abrasive and stupid.anytime he was speaking with one of our suppliers,he would insult them in no joking manner.
it finally came to distrubutor managers calling our boss asking that he no longer called them.
i have recieved excellent service from 95 percent of the vendors i dealt with, there are some sales people out there that just dont give a shit.i guess they were joes too.
my apologies to all the "Good Joes"you know this dont apply to you.

Good thing vendors don't post their encounters with us. It would never end.

"ykp53 sucks at wiring and spelling"
    "stanley can't measure shock lengths"
    "miller can't weld for shit"
"dupont doesn't know what color to paint his car"
    "brownie can't post pictures"

Well, certainly one can appreciate that not everyone posting is equally educated in the methods of proper punctuation. And,almost all of us makes mistakes. That being said, only 7% of the information available from a face to face conversation is available when it is written out as a HAMB posting. So, writing and checking your posts carefully before sending it out is a courtesy to other readers and might insure that you're saying what you mean to say. There are plenty of ways to be ridiculed here without adding spelling and punctuation to the list. :)

  27. If you were in New Zealand wouldn't an apostrophe be a coma? While I am asking questions that have absolutely nothing to do with this rant does anyone know where Old Zealand is?

Next to Old Guinea, and it would be 'comma'.

  29. I knew that, of course I'm not saying which one. ;)

Has anyone ever noticed that rant posts are usually the most fun?
