As I go through my old picture CD's looking for these Willys pictures I want to let everyone know that most of these came from Byron Stacks Gasser Madness. I was a member of that group for many wonderful years, Byron put alot of work into that site and I want to thank him for all the great times and pictures. I have met alot of wonderful gasser friends, including Byron, go to gassermadness.com for more. Thanks Byron!

What a horrible end to a pretty car!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though, as rare as these things are, I'd bet someone would straighten it and put it try to ebay it for a ton of cash.

Seems like I remember a photo of one of "Bones" Balough's '33's that ended up in a similar fashion.....and K.S. Pittman's '33 after running off the end of the strip in Texas.

I know but it's just too special to us. We have taken it down the track a few times. I'm afraid if anything happened to it Pork Zartman's son would be very unhappy with us.

Not to mention the fact that you cant have insurance when racing. I have checked into collector insurance and you are covered up till the tree comes down then back on again as soon as you turn off the track on the return road. I dont know if I will race mine or not, not as much as I used to if I do.

I don't know if you got any reply's on this, but I did some work on it in the 80's (Not the Scoop). I know this is old and I haven't read all the way through yet,the person that owned it put it up for sale in the early 90's haven't heard about it since.

For those of you that elect not to race it and watch......Words cannot describe how much fun it is........the next one waded up will not be the last, or the first.....but you find another, build it and race it, cause it's so much fun.....I repeat myself....

That last pick made me want to weep. Such a waste. I would take off their hands and appreciate it in a flash.
