I have a C4. Look back a few and there are some pictures of how much I had to cut and refab the tunnel. I believe the 51's tunnel is a bit higher/taller so you may be safe? It's all trial and error. thanks

Doing okay, a little of reverse culture shock, but doing okay overall. I sure miss the friends I made in Austin though, life long pals for sure, but hopefuilly they'll come out here and won't get tired of me visiting from time to time.

I'm a sucker for the working spotlights... though I haven't owned a pair in 13 years (All "Dummies" for this dummy these days) :)

Looks good art, that spray paint is the bomb! Haha. Greg good to see the move went well, and you only had to endure part of the scorched summer, probably nice on the coast. Cya herb.

    thanks guys!

Got the doors sandblasted today. Now I have this crazy idea to lose the wing vents and go with 1pc glass? Any suggestions, advice, do's or dont's?

You don't want to open that can of worms. It defitiely is doable, but a fairly major undertaking, especially if you haven't done it before. If the chop left the door perfectly straight It wouldn't be so bad but usually the inner part of the door needs to be reworked with the garnish moulding and it leaves a gap on the outside that has to also be dealt with. The new forward runners that need to be fabbed interfere with the hinge mounts and the lift mechanism needs to be shifted so the front of the glass doesn't sag. Usually aftermarket power mechanisms can usually correct that though.
If you want to make it to the Roundup pass on it. If the expense of rebuilding the wings is the problem (just dealing with that on my shoebox) just make the wings fixed
    like on my chevy. BUCKD

buckd-- thanks for the advice. Looks like I'll be keeping the vents.

They just need a little love to get them in shape.
