Alex, am I in with my 51 Mercury Woody Wagon? This will be a tail dragging Kustom. I am making my own one off wood kit for this car. It will be done out of Ferrous Wood.

Would love to get in on the drawing for my 1947 Pontiac Torpedo. Going to be a custom taildragger as soon as I can unload the '37 and get started on it.

Gotta be in to win so I will through my hat in the ring! Building a 50 Coupe and it needs to get down low. Gonna clone an early 50 as seen in the Larry Watson photo's kindly supplied by Rikster. The Fatman uprights pass our tight certification process in New Zealand too!!! Id cover shipping of coarse! Thanks for the oppertunity.

  25. Alex- Thanks for the opportunity! You da man! I would say some dropped uprights would make a big difference over lowered stock Merc stuff!

I'd like to get in the running for the dropped uprights for my '49 Shoebox Coupe . It's a custom in the making . I've been helping a friend with his Shoebox , but now should be back on mine this winter . So far I've dropped the car a bit with blocks/springs , shaved the rear 1/4 seams , filled the trunk , made custom old-school semi-frenched taillights ... stuff like that (hand-making as much as I can & plenty of leadwork to be done) . More to come soon !

Here's a pic of it as it sits now - there's a link to my build thread in my sig. below . Thanks !

1951 Packard 300 with the original Thunderbolt straight 8 and Ultramatic trans. The tops chopped with a Packard 200 back glass and converted from a 4 door to a 2 door. I want the notch!

Thanks for accepting my '51 Chevy for the drawing. Please put me on the list for uprights since my car is on a '74 Monte Carlo chassis and is a tad high in the front.

    Happy Thanksgiving To All!
