got my skirts today.. theyre just propped up there in the pic.. but i like how they look.. I should have some more updates soon...ive been just collecting parts i need the last few weeks..

Your car looks nice! I like those cars both chopped when done right like yours and left alone. I owned one once, a 51. I found it in the junkyard. It had perfect floors, primed and painted, painted firewall, and only holes in the rockers. Everything there but the drive train. A death must of caused it to wind up in the junkyard. I bought it and stored it indoors for a month or two. My mind is too clouded with hot rods so I sold it to a pal whom put it in his garage and never touched it. He really isn't a car guy. Still think about it once in awhile. Must be sitting there for about 6 years now. At least it is indoors!
Well hopefully it eventually ends up in the hands of a "car guy"! Sounds like a solid car.. i think you need to pay a visit and make an offer!
thanks.. im hoping i have time before January to re work them to make them fit better and extend the bottom down flush with the bottom body line.. either way, i think it looks better with the skirts
slow progress... relocating my license plate to the bumper with the license plate guard over it... filling in the hole from the license plate light...
little update.... started the body work today.. i got my rear beltline moldings in the mail the other day ( thanks Bob K!).. just need to trim them up and polish them.. they are in great shape! oh.. and a quick ride to Taco Bell for lunch.. then back to work!
