Event Coverage Mooneyes 2011 caravan!!!!

The guys at the last Anti-donut Breakfast mentioned they wanted to all park together at Mooneyes. So I suggested we meet up and drive in together. I've done this caravan about 5 times,and works out pretty well. We will take the 57 north,to 60 west,to 605 north to Irwindale Speedway.

Meeting spot: ARCO Station at Imperial Blvd and the 57 Frwy,East side,next to Wendys.

Time: Be there by 6AM,so we can leave by 6:30.

Stephanie said she would trailer the 33 for me so i could drive the merc, getting her up at the butt crack of dawn is another story! might be doable!

 

Gonna be a trailer Queen from Bako with my slow ass coupe. Might have VIP parking for it at a buddies Vender space Oh and have the little lady along for the ride. Anyone have info on where to park tow rigs?-Weeks

I'm in with the lovely and talented Mrs. Hoov's and my "official event photographer" Little Hoov's as well.

 

I've done the 5am thing before and you end up right in the middle,so getting there REAL early has no advantage. JustplainJ and I have gotten there at around 6:30 and got great spots...more groupe friendly.

I have found that the closer you are to the track,the worse the spots are.

 

I may be in... I'll let you know for sure by next week.
