Eh I like Mack Brushes better. All you need to get start is 2 colors of One-Shot, a Mack 00, some mineral spirits, brush oil, a few pieces of sheet metal to practice on....

So I havnt done anything for a while except drive it. WIth Mooneyes Xmas party coming up, I made a small list of things to do....

Finish primar'ing the roof and the cab
Strip out all the ****ty body filler
Wrap the seats in some cheap fabric for the time being
Strip the dash of the old blue paint and hopefully get it primar'd
Seal up the cab a lil better
    Get cab vents working

Ill be stoked if I get half those things done....

Mooneyes xmas party is coming up, so I kinda gt it all pretty. Repainted the dash, and panels, wrapped the seat, and put in some fuzzy fabric **** to hide the plywood in the bed. Heres some pics....

    The seat before...

Looking great! Seeing all the trucks here has got me ready to finish my frame & suspension, fix the major rot (thankfully not much, my truck spent most of its life in Riverside & Torrance), and epoxy everything so I can put it back on the road with the new powertrain and worry about the cosmetics while I DRIVE it!

You never know what you will find in spots like that - was under the truck from Uncle 2 days ago routing a wire for the 3rd brake light install - I look up and inside the cab corner rot I see a tool handle. Turned out to be a really nice wide/bent putty knife the last owner used to mix/spread bondo. While I don't spread bondo that way - it is the best tool to mix it..... then clean it off with lacquer thinner before the bondo hardens.
