Careful dude I just got hammered by a couple of guy's.

Well if it aint what you need why are guys askin for it! I remember a post in here that this was sorta like a swap meet. How about if I did see a post from someone asking for a part and it was laying in my garage Guess what? It then belongs to him! No Charge other than the shipping as I understood. Maybe someone just remembered that those old caddy tail lights in the loft over the garage wasn't goin to be used after all but this guy rustyhood could use them. Lets not make this a guessing game guys. this is an awesome thing that got started. If I am wrong Im sorry and I will stay out of this thread, but this is what I thought it was to be.

My apology to this thread. I went back through and read the rules again. I guess the suggestions on doing this and that had me thinking the wrong thing and wasn't what the original idea was. So if anyone of you were like me at this point, when a part is offered and then taken...only that person that took the part will post his part for the taking. Thanks Gritts. I feel silly now! The hood part of me took over.

I don't see any problem with starting a new thread with a parts wanted or needed theme.

I think you are all right, you offered up something to give away too, if you need something and someone has it around and wants to give it to you, I don't see the harm. The idea is rodders having extra stuff around they don't really need and helping each other out by giving it away. If someone needs it and you feel inclined to give it to them, God bless you for your generosity. Oh I just dropped a complete rear wiring harness for an off topic car in a flat rate box and sent it to a friend in Cali, No moola required so I'm even. :D All I had to do was climb in the loft and say hello to the giant spiders to retrieve it.

Ok, I have seen this thread a long time ago and though it was a cool idea, then after reading another thread this morning about the great people here on the HAMB and I have to agree!

So here is my free part contribution, Also noticed that member "Gear27" needs this item so< ???

    1948- 1952 Ford truck
    brake and clutch pedal assembly.

I probably have a few other items I may throw out on here in the near future that I'll probably not ever use and am sure someone here can.

I have some Aluminum Slots WESTERN I think multi lug 5 on 4.50/4.75 x6 narrow enough to be front runners on a heavy car good condition, needs a good polish, not pitted at all or curb rash.. You pay the ride!

I'll play. Another HAMB'er named Truckedup gave me an alternator bracket to fit my 1962 Buick Special V6. Last week I tweaked it some and installed it with an alternator and now I drive!

I'll donate a key type ignition switch for a 1954 Packard. It has the shielding on the cable but no keys. Pay the freight and pay it forward.

I have a 216 six cylinder out of a 49 chevy pickup. This is a complete engine and was running when pulled. Local pick up only.

  26. Well I haven't seen this thread for awhile. I have some Delco Distributers and any number of other things lieing around that i keep for when someone is in a pinch. If there is something you need it is just a matter of getting hold of me and letting me know what it is. I may have it in my stash of pieces that I keep for fellas that need something.

There is one catch, no one should know that I let you have it. One of my oldest friends calls me asshole even when we are around family, he has a reason for that.
