A Nooner Bump and question.
Does this mean the rest of crew is not Pre Registered?
As in , can a better late than never guy, show up and get ticket at the gate, as the rest of the HAMB Caravan.??.
Never been before looking for a little insight.
Thinking of getting the 55 out for a little trip over the Grapevine.
Last time I did that was 1978 for some Van Nuys Blvd action.

 

None of us are preregistered. We all show up and buy tickets at the gate then try to park as close together as we can.

Head on out, 33 years is too long to have waited to get that 55 out on a trip!

This was in the confirmation Email I got on Dec 2nd;
"There will be no more preregistrations as we have sold out of preregistered passes-a first!".
I don't know if that means all parking spots are sold or not.

 

Been on lots of trips just not over the Grapevine in it. Usually head to the coast or desert.
I'm working in Culver City right now. Kinda liking this Sunny So. Cal weather. Bako all fogged in. No reason to stay there

 

Anyone got room in the back seat for two??
If not then it`s either stalk the caravan from the back in the daily or try to fit in Bob`s trunk! I could handle it being mexcian but the wife would`t be to happy

Yes the pre reg is done because they cant mail it back in time! yes you can still register the day of the show!

 

So what`s the cost to get into this thing anyway??

 

I think its 30 per car for both passenger n driver and it should not sell out, there were open sections in back of lot last year. We wont be first there but there will be many after us Im sure.

I've been away from the house working for 2 weeks. I go home tomorrow. I will see how long the Hunny Dew list is ?? and go from there?
If I can get a Hall Pass?
I will head up the grape vine late that night , with the moon & stars shining bright!!

 

About 6 of us going from the La Verne area. Think we will meet at the Monrovia Home Depot and cruise over to the line up at the gate. Guessing that will be before the gates open.
