Monday update time again , and today folks ,wait for it ..............
    Wait for it..............................

I Sanded all day today , but I was pretty happy with what I got done, the passanger side is almost completed and so is the roof so if things work out the way I'm hopeing I should have it in slick sand by the new year
On another note I also picked up this past weekend an old Mallory dual point distubatior with the two piece cap for my 292 , I have been looking for one of these for the past year , so it kinda made my weekend.

Thank you , you should just swing on by your only a couple of miles away :D
Gotcha ,i just never herd it call that , actually there is nothing hanging down, since i knew this thing was going to be low i took a lot of time out tucking everything up nice and tight so that there was nothing belwo the frame .the only thing i have yet to do is shorten the oil pan so that also doesnt hang down below the frame.

thank you cody and "texas speed" on the tire size. looks awesome on some big whitewalls, I think my old impala had some H78 15's. ill look at the coker website again as I have before, I was thinking the "silvertown" brand was a remake of the old style big whitewalls Either way I love them old big white walls

Another Monday update , so today I was able to go in 2 hours early ( since my kids are off school) and get a lot more done then I normally do , I finished up the rest of body work, got it all blowned out, masked up and sprayed the entire body with slick sand I felt at time like I was painting a sem-I , it took a gallon and a half to do nice 3 coats and after all that was done my work day on the wagon was over.

Looks great, man. I gotta ask what's up with the tape outline that goes around the edging of the hood? Looks like you're thinking about doing two-tone.

thanks ,yah im pretty happy with the way it all comming together .

yah im glad too , the major body and metal work are done but the next big task is getting the body off the frame .

your welcome , when i ordered the white wall i actually ordered them as a smaller white wall but when they cameand i put them on the car i fell in love with the 3 " white wall ,

thank you for taking the time out to go threw all of it , im thinking when i do get the body off the frame ill start a part 2 of the build thread

Thanks Matt, about the hood i actually added a nother body line to the hood out lining the ribs to match the roof a while back i just never said aneything and you were the first to pick it out , without line around the primeter of the ribs, the ribs looked out of place , the hood is not getting two toned, but the roof and top of the fins are

    Thank you :D

Ah. I see it now.. I can't think of the proper termology for it but it looks like the middle of the hood "steps down" where the imaginary tape line is?

Now that you point it out, it does look pretty slick! It actually matches the ribs you added to the hood.. I think that was a good decision you made there.

Man. This build is awesome. If this doesn't make you want to get out there and work on your stuff...then nothing will. Great work can't wait to see more

Hard to beat the feeling of accomplishment that you get when you get it all in one color. A little contrast with the wheels is a rush too. ~WX1:)

Slick sand is great stuff! Only bad thing about it is it means more blocking!! hahahaha! Looks like your rounding 3rd, or at least halfway to it!!! Keep it up man, it's gonna be sweet
