53 Chieftain. It's a 4 door but have plans for a mild custom with a different than the norm drive train. Too hard to find parts here to keep it stock anyway.

Hopefully no more Pontiacs for awhile! I'm a Ford guy but one of my best friends is into Pontiacs so I've had a Pontiac of some type in the shop for the last 10 years till recently. I finished building his 39 about 3 years ago and started on his 53 right after, finished it in September. His wife tells me she'll divorce him if he has me start another project for him!
Fine cars, just not as easy to find parts for as Fords, no reproduction stuff. On the plus side when you do find the parts they are generally reasonable, not much demand for them.

My 63' Lemans convert. Almost done, really, really close...

It has a stock body, mild custom interior and a wild slant four/four speed.

  26. I am rebuilding the carbs (Tri-Power) on my 65 GTO, they haven't been done in over 15 years, the front and rear ones were dumping a lot fuel, turns out both floats were cracked and full of gas.

Someone told me years ago to put Chapstick on the gaskets before assembly so the carbs will come apart easily without damaging the gaskets. I did that the last time I rebuilt them and it worked but I am still going to replace them.

Well I fully intend to get some more recent shots of my Poncho as soon as I get the camera working again. Here it is one more time only now it's dropped 6 1/2 inches in front and 4 in the back and now has my HAMB tag topper on front.
