That's where I'd be going. Maybe with a flathead V8 - a sedan seems a bit heavy to keep the banger.

Great find! Keep us imformed on what you decide to do with it. Personally I like the idea of keeping it mostly original and driving it for a while.

Not that it makes a difference but I know what a BARN is, and if you must know the cows resided next door between the cars and a small partion wall to keep them out, I guess I should have taken photos of the cow shit and cows to prove it to you. I am still content calling it a BARN find. LOL Larry

Lol, just pokin at you man, everything I find in barns has been molested by critters for many years. I just got done picking a barn haymow and had to dig through a foot of coonshit to get at the first layer of junk. (But it was worth it, among other things a 32 grille shell and radiator)
I bought a 57 2 door Belair once that wasn't in a barn, it was the barn, had a big nest of rotten goose eggs on the front seat.

Ha Ha, I appreciate the comeback, you had me fooled I thought it was another guy more worried about the barn than the find. Larry:cool:

  7. You sure they were goose eggs? Sounds more like a chicken coupe...:D

    Nice score on the A!

Not to hijack the thread but that was as straight if a 57 as I ever had. I had tried to buy it from the old drunk farmer every time I saw him at the bar. He wanted $50 but that was a lot of money to a junior in high school in 1969. One day I hit on him and he said he had sold the 235 out of it for $35 so I could have the car for $15. That I could handle. We drug it home about 25 miles with a chain and I scared the crap out of the neighbor kid by seeing how fast we could go, got him up to about 75 a couple times. Ended up selling the car for $100, the first $100 bill I ever had my hands on.

Yes, Please read the above classified. It clearly states for a whole car not HALF A CAR. If Mr. CANDY made a commitment to buy the whole car he would now own it.
