wow, you drill the crap out of the crossmembers. Are you keeping all the scraps to see how much weight you saved. they also double as washers.

No washers, used a 1" drill. Lots of chips on the basement floor, my garbage men always look so confused

You've done some pretty interesting work but I think it looked better with fenders and the banger

You've Took a good idea and ruined it with all those holes, youve weakened the cross member.

This is absolutely a rat rod and hopefully this thread will die, along with the 80's rear tires and the front end that's 18 inches to long...

Thanks man, these mindless lemmings make me laugh everytime I log on here.:) These are the type of guys that will post several times on a thread about what kind of car name to give their new born baby yet try to bash someone that does something that they are not use to seeing in magazines. They have no clue how thick the material is that I'm working with so how can they know how strong it is? And my posts are full of progress pictures and resonable questions not empty chatter about what I like is right and everything else is wrong. True car guys understand that and I appreciate guys like that.

Well said, I'm glad you don't let the DA's get to you and I really like the workmanship. Look forward to seeing more.

Maybe make that bracket bigger so it can stick out more, you know rat rods are all about exaggeration!! Maybe even a skull bracket! Oh snap that'd be so rockabilly!

    Rats for life brother!
