    Why radical?
The old way works good and looks better, some people call it traditional.:)
    But here is my addition:
    1 extreme in the weeds
    2 frame dragging
    3 extreme tail dragger

I swear some day I am going to build a clone of Larry Selmers T. I've been in love with this car since I was 12 and it has one of the most radical rakes I have ever seen. I wonder if it is still around or what happened to it?

Reference the photo posted by Scotty T...........my ride also has a lift at the FIREWALL and the frame is extended. I'm a LONG ways from ***embly but I estimate my RAKE to be approx. 5". That is from the very end of the body to the horns. I'm running full fenders so the "rake" will really standout.
I guess what I'm looking for some call it the "West Coast 50's stance". What ever you call it.........it's the one I like BEST.
Attached are some samples of what I would like to have.............

WOW! That is just the stance I have been wanting to get my wifes 35 truck sitting at, what size tires and wheels are you running on there, and how did you get it to sit like that? That is perfect man, you nailed it! LOL

These are mine, not real radical but I like them. The stance makes or breaks a car for sure.

  27. Perfection in every way.....Back in the day, it was the California Rake that capured the minds of many a Mid-Westerner. This is what it looks like. I'd be compelled to put a set of Chrome Lake Plugs (Cut-outs) sneaking out of the Front Wheel Wells, but no points are deducted.....:) Centurion9

  28. There were far more Mild Customs that were "Raked" than Hot Rods in this area....It's actually my favorite look.....Lake Plugs or long Bell tipped Scavenger Pipes were the exhaust options in this part of the country. Looking for a trend to revive? You might want to consider this one........
