Does anybody know if there is a difference betwwen a set of 1930 Model A running boards and 1931 Model A running boards. I need to replace the trim on mine and am not sure what year they are? When i took the trim off it was one big strip. Anybody?

From the beginning of 1930 until mid to late 1930, the running board was attached (spotwelded) to the splash apron and the splash apron was two pieces-the one piece that attached to the running board and a "corner" piece that attached to it and to the front fender. In mid/late 1930 a one piece "long" splash apron was introduced and the running board was no longer attached to the splash apron.

  8. Actually, zink trim is correct for 1930 and possibly early '31, before it was changed to stainless steel.
