On the aircraft they just mount to the axle like a spindle mount. They do have a brake drum on the inside so I would assume that they drilled a mounting bolt pattern there.

Check with the guys out at Eagle Field. They might have a similar wheel out there that you could check out.

Been gone since March, had to cold turkey, spending way too much time on this glorious Ryan's World ride.

Catching up . . . just too cool for words, Rocky!!

Props for making Roddin' At Random in the Oct. Hot Rod mag.

I'm currently entered in the Always a Champion sweepstakes where winners are determined by online votes. With plans to go to the HAMB Drags in Mokan, then up to Billetproof's event in Toutle, WA. already in place the Sweepstakes will help me fullfill a dream of going to more Tracks than planned, a tour if you will![IMG]
I have submitted my video and it can be seen at http://contest.alwaysachampion.com/contests/showentry/1007448 ;. The voting starts Jan 2nd thru Feb 5th and voters are allowed to vote once a day per IP address. Check it out today and I hope you'll consider voting for me.

    Thanks Mark!
I've made some promises to myself and they include beiing more motivated on a regular bases in 2012. I need to completely tear the car done and and final fit some items. The engines are also of concern so last night I pulled the REV Marine engine that TruckJim gave me and found NO Difference in the Crank oil passages as compared to a Standard Rotation Engine. I felt this was my best shot of knowing due to the fact it was a marine engine out of a boat.
So anyhows, with the 307 laboring like its wounded and it's 350 partner unable to hold water due to some Freeze cracks I'm gonna put some "better" engines in it, both 350's and both with the 461 casting heads.
A quicker way of describing winter of 2012's task's is a check list...............
    Install Helmet Bars
Install Main Hoop uprights and kidney bars
Mount Aircraft Tank with Metal Straps
    Upgrade Clutch
Chrome Brake Handle, Front Axle, Wishbones, Tie rod, Spindles, Drag Link and Front Engine Plate...It is a CA Car afterall :D
Powder Coat 3rd Member after replacing 1 housing end
Seal Cowl to engine plate on Top
    Baloney cut the exhaust
Fish Body Panels and install Dzus tabs
    Upholster the seat
and detail and paint all the parts, pieces and frame.
Gonna be a busy winter! Rocky

Checked out the Champion site and saw the other contestants' videos. While there is some cool stuff I still think Rocky's dragster is the coolest. Got my vote in and will keep it up. Go Rocky!

  22. Just signed up on the Champion website and knew it would be a crime against justice to not vote for you!!! I'll make a commitment to vote as much as possible, hoping one day of seeing the "Evil Twin" at a track near me... In south Florida, we have nostalgia tracks up north of me - Bradenton, Ocala near Big Daddy Don Garlits and I believe one near the Tampa area (this track has a tractor trailer style booth for announcements) etc. The best of luck to you and your son Rocky! Your rail RULES COOLNESS!!!
