    You be carefull opening that thing in KS. Might end up in my back yard looking for a ride home. I dig it, would look good hangiin from the rafters in my stop.

    You have no idea how right you are about the wind! I had my daughter take the pics. It had rained and was a bit muddy. With my feet planted I was dragging as the slick ground gave way. I was hollering to her to run to the back of the chute and pull the center of it to deflate it but it took her a bit to understand me. I thought I was going to end up in the plowed field being drug through some serious mud. I never really thought about letting go. I wasn't about to loose my new/old chute.

    I just bought one too, will they need to be modified with a spring to use on a car? I have no experiance with chutes.

    So how many of those chutes have been sold from those seeing this thread. I even thought about buying one but really have no use for it.

    I bought one yesterday also after seeing this thread. Think I'll attach it to the nephews 51 Chevrolet Bus Coupe; I have new Simpson chute pack left over from the dragster days, but it probably wont be big enough. Butch/56sedandelivery.

    I got one for wall art in my raceshop....Ive got 2 Strouds on the car

    Only use 1 most of the time to whoo her down from a buck 90

    Got my chute today. There is some corrosion on the clevises that attach the shrouds to the main web but other than that it is pristine. Hope yours are as nice. :)
