If this thread doesn't make your mouth water I seriously doubt your claim of being a hot rodder. I'm sure there are more out there so keep posting flathead owners/fans.

Here's mine, original engine, hot rodded to a full house 276 in 1953, rebuilt in 2010. Now is 281 cubes, bored .145. 4 inch stroke, Isky springs, Manley valves, johnson lifters, Egge pistons, Potvin super 3/4, Edelbrock Heads and intake, Speedway and Melling pumps. Sounds good.

Thanks! :D ..yeah, that was Grandpa's handy work. I am in the process (among other projects  ) of building a duplicate of his A-bone and when I have these carbs rebuilt for the project.....the cut off tops will stay for sure ;)

Heres a few of my V8s. The ones that presently run that is......
The one with milled and chromed heads is a Merc engine, Isky Cam, Edelbrock 452 intake and Rochester 4G carb. Very strong running engine!

The one in my coupe is a '46 59L with an unknown cam. Presently otherwise stock, but reliable as hell!

It's a 276 cid, with a 400 jr. cam, fully ported with a partiallly relive.
Left a small edge toward the piston. Just wanted to try out something else:)!

Here are some. The first is a 256 '53 Merc converted with a ARDUN OHV conversion kit. The Hudson's are all 308 Twin Hornet sixes.
