I prefer American Stamping for rails without rear axle notching and JW Wiemers Garage for rails with the notching, because even the notched area is radiused on the outside of the rail.
We've boxed 100s of pairs of ASC rails over the years but when my rail boxer moved away I decided I didn't have the patience to train someone else to do the job so I started using boxed rails from JW Garage. So far they have worked out fine. I have a chassis using them under my delivery and the holes lined up good. I have another chassis done for my highboy roadster in the near future. Also my deuce pu uses a set of the early HR&HP rails which were the predecessor of JWs but they needed a lot of work.
I've used both ASC and J.W. rod garage rails. If I bought another set Id buy the J.W. rails. The stamped in C-notch is well done and they fit perfectly in the jig without clamps.
