Sorry for the delay posting the follow up pictures - your right that shot makes the car look much better then it does - and in looking these pictures are about 12 / 15 years old!
That's my friend in the shorts, whose Dad drove this car, and the older gent in the hat was the cars owner.

This Willys sits near my house and has been used as a snow plow forever, the property just went up for sale so my brother has been talking to the owner about it and a 59 Mercury M100 short box and a 63 Fargo tow truck sitting int he back of the place.

My 61 Monarch 4 door hard-top, sitting not rotting, just for the winter, in the spring I'm redoing the front end and giving it tune up and will start driving it.

Saved this chopped 48 Dodge 2 years or so ago from rotting in a field, I first saw it almost 20 years ago and it was never for sale... I got it after the owner abandoned it to rot, even have court papers to cover my ass, hope to have it driving by summers end.

For those interested I checked my resources and this is a 1929 REO Flying Cloud "Mate"

The Mate had a Murray Body and replaced the Wolverine.

I love that bus. Too cool. Looks bowed in the middle, must be pretty soft now. I hope someone saved that woody.
