Projects Toymaker's Twin Engine Dragster Build

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Toymaker, Nov 22, 2010.

  1. If the success of Jack Olsen's "12 gauge Garage" voting on the Garage Journal is any indication, you should win by a landslide.

Yep, I agree Dean, any clutch that even comes close to working isn't much cheeper. I'm gathering the money as we speak, thank you for the sound advice.
I am SO GRATEFUL for everyones support!

  5. Rocky, your efforts to make Eagle field happen have made many old and new racers very happy. Voting for you is the least we can do. You'll get two a day from me until it's over. (I sneak in and vote on the wife's computer when she's not around ;))

HaHaHa, GREAT Idea, Thank You 'Eli!

    Thank you Gary!

    Thank You Dean!

    Thank You Carl!
IMO We're doing great, We're still on the 1st page of most VIEWS and Comments. We got a GREAT Flag Start, and still hazing the tires as we come up to the 1st cone:D Thank You all again and Thank you again for keeping me on the front page of the HAMB and I wanna thank the HAMB for putting up with us;)
I'll add this, I've always had an interest in Nostalgia Racing since way back, one night I found the HAMB while Googling Straight Axle for My (64.5) Mustang A/FX/ FunnyCar, and I haven't been the same since. Early in my HAMB Days I had nothing to offer and could only learn from the Great Traditional Knowledge here so I stayed quiet. Then I found the HAMB Dragsters and thought wow that's COOL and found a way to get involved with that. I love people and I'm a Drag racer, I don't now much about anything other than Drag Racing (and sometimes fail there too:rolleyes:), and the HAMB has given me a place to "TALK Traditional Drag Racing", meet like minded people and I thank Ryan for the site! Rocky

    Thank You Poofus!
Where do you think the TWIN would be welcomed? We're planning Mokan, maybe Tulsa (I have a list of unsanctioned tracks;)) and then WA and with the Big Prize the Twin will see as much of the USA as possible!

  12. Also all the Hambers who are part of this should come on out to Eagle Field in May to see the Evil twin in person and get hooked on old style drag racing!!!!!!

I'm already hooked. I have decided to build either a late 50's to early 60's styled t roadster drag car or a late 50's to early 60's front engine dragster instead of my t coupe. :D

I have read this thread several times. Maybe I am missing something but what size tubing did you use for the drivers compartment?
