Yes I did, had to remove the added front fenders and replicate the original inner wheel wells and front fenders along with the modified grille opening and a ton of other things, buy mfs#5 I think I went ove all the mods there. heres a pic of it when I first got it
Here's another Revell kit that never was. This is a great thread. A buddy of mine has a radical early 50's Chevy convert that if I remember correctly was last shown in 68. He's on the board here. Maybe he'll share a pic. Its cool.
Hey Moriarity, did you ever find that rear window that you were begging for on Mad Fab? Killer thread guys. - Joe

after a 20 year wait trying to find this, I bought this on Ebay........wish I bought it years ago, this is one of the koolest books and alotta color pics...if ya dig showrods and want to know more find this book!
I too had to turn to ebay for that book , they turn up on there every couple of months. I wanted that book when we visited Harrahs in 1983?, had to settle for the cheaper Barris customs of the 50's then..... If you guys like show cars, find all the issues of Hot Rod Show World... they are quarterly from 68-9 on up to the mid 80's , tons of show car pics...and if you are really persistant you can find the rare issue Van Show World......, all good stuff.
Ray Farner ( rip ) had a bunch of kick ass custom show rods years ago that inspired a lot of young kids to dream and build cool rides. Not really drivable cars but fun to look at and walk away shaking your head. Darrell Starbird has done his share also.
