I saw that COE and 5th wheel trailer at the fairgrounds in Yuma AZ about 6 or so years ago. It's what made me want one to tow our 5th wheel.

Going through some old files tonight, found this one. Taken in the rear view mirror of my A sedan after getting off the ferry at Tsawwassen after Canadian Deuce Day in 2007

WOW!, I hope someone saves that one. You don't see too many Bookmobile type COE's. That one has the half cab.

The 40 crew with the buick clip has been returned to all ford, its on a 4 wd marmon chassis
I had several crew fords this year that were actually nice, and also several gm and white and fwd crews. Most of them were on 4wd chassis and used by telephone and electric companies.
But never saw anything so obsurd as the ford buick combo.
Here is an old cass Clay milk truck ford

Here is a Chassis that we will be incorporating a COE cab onto.
I have one torn apart now with a 47 Military crew cab GMC on it that is drivable.
The gm toronado chassis fit real well and have air suspension front wheel drive.
Have the first one ready for new tires and brakes and will do the second one frame up nice with another gm cab.T
This one pictured had a couch fire and all the interior except front seats dash and the carpet up front was removed years ago.
When doing it we will have a reputable caddy, olds machine shop here in norhtern mn.build a very much higher horsepower, torque and reliable engine.Fuel injection and a 500 in motor will be the only real change to what i consider a nice smooth reliable ride.
We will use it to haul a late model 2 seater dirt car around at first.wedge with a little rv front. The rv part will be and older flexible bus stainless body insert.
inish time from start to finish will be about 14 months.

Here is a 38 ford bus that I found 10 miles away from a 39 ford bus I also bought this year.
This one is complete with a flathead v-8 that still turns over.
Has a rip 5 inches long in one rear wheel opening,a dent low on the rare opening driver door. The rear below the rear emergency door also has a dent on a straight small panel.
It was never used as a school bus but as a tool and office for a ground tile company in central Minnesota so no winters to rot it.
Never had seats from factory--Union City Coach Company -Indiana.Also it is rare as it has all steel floors and side walls and inner roof.So buildible.
We have mounted the 39 on a rear engine bluebird coach so we can enjoy luxuries such as a/c and heat zones every 36 inches both low middle and upper for every inch of interior.
Will not paint the 39 and will be adding hoosier cupboards and private primative overhead shower and stool form a bus station as it will be registered RV.
In Minnesota where Grayhound was started bus,s are really coming on strong as builders
