I need to find this,I sold it to someone in the Peebles Ohio area in 2000 and if anyone is from that area and has seen it please let me know. I took on a couple small projects (mainly daily drivers) after this was posted but this one would keep me busy for awhile and keep me focused on finishing it.

my pops has a 1970 SS454 monte carlo that has been sitting for 20 years...... and a 66 bronco in bad-mo-fo shape that hasn't been running before i was born ....... it just sits in the garage, with all the crap to put it together sitting next to it


some type of mental thing i guess. every time i tell him i want to put it together or restore it, its shot down

in the mean time, they rot.

I agree, it has to be said that it's great you saved it, too many in this condition get left because people are too afraid of rust and work!

 

Theres a '57 Cad moredoor hardtop in the local U-pull-it. It looks like somebody just pulled it out of storage and left it at the yard. A sad sad sight, it was complete and I didn't see a spot of rust on it. I know its a four door, but it certainly doesn't belong there. I wanted to go smack the yard owner... once they are in the yard, he can't sell them.

heres one i found today the sign in the window says $1000 Its a little rough the top is missing and the hood was stuck closed

 

Bigbadcad-my dad has a running original 365 motor/trans assembly from his '57 DeVille available. He put a 500/400TH in his and he's looking to sell the package. He's in Arkansas, let me know if you have any need.

Can you believe that the above Eldorado still had tripower, some body trim (already removed), and matching numbers built plate, frame, and an engine that started? Pulled this one home for parts.

The '53 (?) convertible caught my eye. Very sad. Seems there's quite a few convertibles there.

Since I am a Ford guy . I have found the following that owners would not sell a 66 Gt-350 in Fl. a Boss 302 in North ga, another GT-350 in Atlanta. a SD-455 Trans-Am in North Ga. all not for sale
