I just got my April issue of R&C today and was pleasanty surprised to see an article on the one and only Bob K. It talked about his and Maggie's many road trips. Over 118000 miles in the Chevy. It's good to see some coverage from one of the H.A.M.B.'s good guys.

Between BobK and Denise (hotrodladycrusr), I don't know who puts on more miles in a kustom (or are those hot rods?) than either of these two. I used to think I put a lot of miles on my cars until I met these two at events far from ColoRODo, but my mileage certainly pales by comparison...

    Congrats Bob...

Bob K is truly one of the good cats to know in this hobby....he has helped us in a LOT of ways. I have been able to see him on the west coast, east coast, and many points between and he always has a kind word.....
We appreciate all you have done and although I have not read the article, I am sure it can not say enough good things about the man.

I only met Bob once at the BG - HRR, but he was the kind of guy you immediately knew would be a great friend. Congrats on the coverage, Bob !

Way to go Bob, see the USA in your Chevrolet, I'll keep a look out for that issue.

  25. Actually, Bob just lost his shoe. He's been searching for the damn thing for 120,000 miles now. Kind of like a puppy chasing it's tail.:D

The picture of his Chevy (on the salt, with the sun setting behind it) that someone posted for the H.A.M.B. calendar, has been my desktop for over a year now. I spotted him at Cobo once, with a growing crowd of chit-chatters centered around him. (I can only assume they were trying to book cheap airfare/hotel packages):D Yet I still haven't had the pleasure of meeting him.
