Ya' know I see these guys out on their cycles, still cruising. I'm out in my car (with the dog on the front seat), windows rolled down, and the music cranked up! Every break in the weather here I can get. Sooo, who's still out cruising?

Been running around doing errands today in my '52 Chevy. But So Cal always has cruising weather.

  12. Still cruisin ??

    Does it stop ?

I drive my `56 almost every day to work ( 60 miles ).

The heater doesn`t work, so on chilly mornings I have a little 12v plug in heater. :D

Don`t get me wrong, I have nice cars to drive but cruisin to work in my old ride really starts the day off right.

Had the T-bucket out Saturday and Sunday. Sunday morning 15 degrees + 55 mph = -11 chill factor!

I drive my 50 model to work every day, it's my only mode of transport. I'm just lucky we haven't had a bad winter this year.

the trans went out on my daily so i drove the ford around from christmas morning until lasy monday... was in the 20-30s...

  16. I would if I could but I can't. The Crusty Cruiser has a crust of ice and snow on it. I figured it'd be wiser to take the 4X4 Trooper for a spin out to the race car shop, a drive of 18 miles. Go figure, the wiper motor quit in heavy slush, had to nurse it another 5 miles to O'Reilly Auto Parts for some RAIN-X.
    Made it home before dark.

Yah know there is this guy around here (Watertown, Wisconsin) that drives his ford all year round. I think its a 5 window & it has a POW symbol on the grill. I'd love to meet that guy at the gas pump someday and shake his hand. HARDCORE Cruiser! The Chrome Always looks goood to! Open engine bay and all. I love it when people use em.

  20. 19 degrees this morning and I drove the '50 Ford to work.

  21. I drive mine till the river gets to deep.

Im in Buffalo NY, Had my 53 Chevy out last weekend. The weather has been cooperating believe it or not! Who needs heaters anyway? haha

  29. I had my Thunderbird out last Saturday, it got to a high of 36* but the cold doesn't bother me. As long as it's not raining, snowing or sleeting I'll be back out for a little ride to nowhere again this weekend. :D

I have been out in mine as much as I can, only thing that keeps me from driving it is my muddy driveway. I'm headed out to a buddy's house this AM to see what we can do about getting some heat going in the 55 Rocket for those colder days we get from time to time, high about 60 today and we are looking to see 70 on Sunday.
