  1. those funny valve covers with the spark plug wire going through them and the injector stacks make me weak . . .

Thank you Bill for the kind words. It's all a great learning experience whereby contributions from fellow builders/readers certainly help in the whole process. I try to keep the screw ups to a minimum by thoroughly (over)thinking and plan before I tackle the particular task at hand. Glad you like the thread!

I'm trying not to get distracted too much from finishing the door and mouldings.....once the metal work is done, I'll start work on the engine. One thing at a time, despite how much I want to hear the engine myself as well Scott!:D:D:D

Well what are you thinking about doing as far as the molding for the front windshield, I know it is a little off. What else are you working on now; quarter and/or rear windows?

Scott, I'm going to have a look at an original 41 coupe soon and that should give me a good idea how the front windshield molding needs to be positioned, so that's on hold for this week. I've been doing a few odds and ends on the car (nothing worth mentioning) and getting back into the moldings in a week or two as my company has scheduled me for a lot of flying the coming weeks.....and my family needs some attention as well. So at the end of the month, I'll be back into the project at full throttle! :D:D:D

Thank you Frankie47! The family have been very patient with me the last two years, and I'd like to keep it that way. And by taking it easy for a week of two, it will also give me time to think and plan ahead. As for the emporium........I'd need a bigger garage to build my dream cars.:D

Absolutely fantastic build and thread, Eric. I subscribed well over a year ago, but could never get caught up to the end. Then I took about a one year break from the HAMB (addiction treatment).

It's been said many times, but you are an inspiration, fellow first-time-builder. Dash, tranny tunnel, 4-link, leading, trunk pan, hemi . . . the magazine article. Wow. Kudos to you, sir.

    You and me.

Enjoyed every minute of it. Me too!

    Amen, brother.

Just got back from Copenhagen and met up with James again. He showed us around his shop and his new projects, one of which was this very cool chopper. This guy is good, and really took his time to explain a lot of things. Check out his site, "jamesville". Here's a couple of pics of his chopper and Ford. It was good to see you again buddy!

Just got back from the container terminal in Rotterdam and picked up a 41 Plymouth coupe for a friend of mine. He bought it in the US a few months ago and is in amazing original condition. Good for me too, as now I can finally see how certain things fit originally.:D:D:D His plans are to leave it in completely original driving condition. I was amazed how different this car looks compared to mine....it appears to be so much bigger. Awesome car though!

Maybe when you get yours done do a side by side photo for comparison. That ought to be interesting.
