Steve Taylor brought this Model A into my shop a few months ago. It was on a 1930 A frame. We quickly decided to put it on 32 rails. It's of the most solid bodys I have ever seen. Hope to get it done by spring. Ill post photos as I go.

Thanks. The "Frame" part of the table is removable. Then it is just a welding table.

  8. I'm stoked. Will definitely follow this build-up. Looking very sweet so far. Don't disturb that Amarillo AFB decal from 1954. Adds a certain touch.......Don.

That body does look pretty nice. Will follow since I have a soft spot for 30 A's on Deuce rails. ;)

  24. Nice work! Does the staggered chop eliminate the need for relief cuts in the back panel when welding the top back on?

  25. Killer work and a bitchin stance!

It doesn't look like it will need any relief cuts. I just cut it that way so there wasn't a strait line from window to window.

    Like the 3 inch chop!

  30. Did you pinch the frame?

Looks like the hood/cowl/shell lines up pretty well. Did you have to do anything in particular to achieve that?
