I just picked up this 36' dodge pickup, this is the way I found it, the chassis and drivetrain are done.

Anyone know of a replacement spring to use on a '56 Plymouth in order to lower it. My stock springs have been cut and it rides like crap so I'm looking to replace them. New ones from Kanter are $250 and then I'd have to heat them and would rather just buy something that I can throw in and save some cash.

Of course you realize that a project thread, with lots of photos, is required...;)

I just picked up this project and saved it from rotting away in a old run down building. Someone started building it years ago and stopped. It came with a 440 and a short 727 trans out of a box truck. It's going to be a fun build.

Oh man can I relate. The old guy vs the MIG wleder. Finally traced the problem to both fittings on the ends of the gas hoses needed to be re-crimpt.
