I love the fuel block. That is not to deminish the rest of the build but I'm a fuel block junky. Thanks for letting us ride along with you and your bride.

It's like the same shape of the Weiand right? I'd like to find a 2x2 Weiand to match my Weiand intake and Weiand heads on my 33.

    Great looking engine bay.

Are you gonna use a cut down headlight bar headlight stands?

  4. I dunno quite yet, I might make something that bolts to the stock fender brace.

  5. Yup, this. I will be doing the same on my T. Dropped bar on stock braces=cool.

Looking REEEEEELY good Chris. I'm with you for not wanting to do this one with a slammed stance. This thing is starting to look like it came right out of the late 40's early 50's..............and that's a very good thing:).

Oh well in that case maybe we should trade ;). Just kidding that doesn't make sense for me to have a roadster and you to have a coupe based upon where we live. ;);)

I love Verne's stance and chop. I think this go around I'm gonna do the car cheap and easy with high stance but next time when I make it slick and pretty I might hunker it down like you're thinking just smidge.

Are you talking about the rods that support the radiator and shoot back to the cowl/firewall? SHould be able to get those at any place that supplies early for resto stuff like Drake, Carpenters, Macs etc. I got mine which are stainless from Sacramento Vintage Ford. I believe they are all the same part number from 32-36+? They have a bunch of thread on them to adjust them to your needs.

  11. JJ, I may have a dual Weiand for ya.

Yeah Chris, I was going to suggest you look closely at Verne's as his is basically perfect.

Well that would be mighty rad of ya Mel! Let me know if you find it!

If not him I'm paying close attention. Chris' car will eventually have fenders and such but who knows when. I think until then he's definitely going to be turning a lot of heads with this look and it's cars like Verne's that continue to inspire the next generation of Hot Rodders like Chris. Amazing car!

I really like the chop on Verne's car. I'd wish I could get some more details on it.

Congrats man! This thing is looking killer! ( I would expect nothing less... Always love your stuff... ) Subscribed!

  17. We need fenders up here in our part of the country(The Wet er West side Wash. state) for sure ! LOL, This roadster is going to be really neat... Jeffrey, Verne's car is a favorite, nice rake... great chop !

  18. Thanks Frank, that's exactly what I'm going for!

  19. Well, didn't get a whole lot done tonight, been busy cleaning stuff and doing other fun chores required when working with old junk. I did get all new fuel line fittings that are all the right size, and dug out my box of old hose clamps. Lucky for me I have quite a slew of these old thumb screw clamps. It's little things like this that really make a build to me.

Also started screwing with the steering

Like those clamps Chris ..... bought a bunch at Chehalis......

  22. Looking good! So do you have the dropped axle under yet?

  23. Duh, I see! Looks good Chris! I'm so jealous!!!

  24. This is my plan. Just a little out of the top, and just a hair lower.

Not sure on color. I love black, real dark brown, maybe dark blue or green, love sea foam. We'll see. I might go two tone as well. Boy, decisions!

Those fuel hoses and clamps look rad Chris. I always like simple black fuel hose on 40's styled cars and the thumb screw clamps are a perfect match as well! I have a bunch of those I'm going to use as well.

That Chrome wishbone look incredible. Better send that axle off to Chrome buddy!!!

I love where this car is headed, and that engine looks totally rad.

    Keep up the good work.
