Ron's Ranchero may not be a "truck" in the truest sense of the word, but running 11's at 4000 pounds makes it badass enough to be here! Besides, he's owned it longer than a lot fellows on here have been alive.
I decided for some unknown reason that it should be beautiful, and it's been in bodywork purgatory ever since! I really wish now that I'd have at least just run it for a couple years all banged up....it would still have been a blast, but...patience IS a virtue. I hope I won't have to go through the motor again by then! Man, this thing has been a journey....$$$/time= MORE $$$/time...But, I keep learning more, and my expectations keep going up, and so the bar does, too, ya know? Hey Frankenstein, I have more pics on my profile album, and a couple vids on youtube, too, but there is a build thread on here also, that I never update!
yes, i know..it's not h.a.m.b friendly. here's our junk...( 5/8 scale 55 truck) small block .14-71 -on 70% nitro . dual 44 amp mags..etc.
I know Phil (Swade41) posted a pic of the truck already, and Waddayacare posted a video... but i cant help it, i love the truck, AND, my dad Owns/Drives it!!! So i get to help out in the pits with it. haha Here's another recent pic of the Ron Bizio AA/GS 33 Willys PU. Thanks for the awesome pics everyone! GREAT THREAD! I'll see what else i can dig up in the archives...
Okay so maybe I'm biased just a bit 'cause I know Jeff but this IS not only the best looking pickup but the best looking '33 Willys out there! AND.... They use it!
"Heres one for the 48-50 Ford guys" Ah. "Pricilla" what a crowd pleaser regardless of whether you're a 48-50 Ford guy!
