And if it wasn't already bad enough, I have a pretty clean set of 16's sitting in my storage shed that I've been debating back and forth about keeping.
Thanks larry, this thread is responsible for having me convinced to run wires over solids... perfect timing....
I believe I just saw a guy here on the HAMB setting up a chassis with those wheels yesterday. Miller Jr. Streamliner is such a well of inspiration.
These are my wires. I had to get Dayton to make me some new ones. The old rims and hubs were so worn and cracked, as to be unusable.
Need some help here.. Im running 17's front and rear, I just found a set of good 16's for the front. What bias tire combo 16 front and 17 rear is in production? I looked through the Coker book and everything I see is a mismatch.. The new rears I got are firestone champions but I hate them they look like balloons.. Tom
Hi These are 16" ... the rears have 1" band welded in to make them 6"..more pics of the car in my albums....Doug
Now those are cool! Thats the wheel that started my dad in the wheel business. He wanted a set of those but the only ones he could find where too expensive so he made his own set fromthe 16" bent spokes.
Chrysler Imperial modifed for the front 4.5" wide by wheelkid that I planned to put on my 27 and now I'm thinking the 16's KH on my 33 would look better and replace them with the 15's
