    This is our current father/son project we are building for our son's first hot rod. Since Nate just turned 12, I figured it was overdue. We started with a '51 Chevy AD that belonged to one of my dad's best friends who would often babysit me back when I was in diapers. He would drive me around in this truck at night to calm me to sleep. His name was Bill and he has since p***ed but I couldn't turn down the chance to buy his truck from his daughter when given the opportunity. We are building a ch***is from scratch with bags at the corners. Plans are for an SBC or LSx with an automatic. Hopefully Nate will learn enough from this build to appreciate the fun in creating something with his own two hands. I can only hope he enjoys this hobby half as much as I do!

    Looks great. Im finishing up my first father/son build with my dad. started at 14 now 16 and had a blast, its something i will never forget, and you and your son wont either!

  15. here's my '53 on an s-10 ch***is with s-10 drive train..not finished yet but it runs/drives/stops now just need to do some cosmetic things to it

    This one has so many mods I'm not sure you can even still call it an AD
