    Yes you did but not wires. That's why I mentioned not wanting to beat it to death. Being away from home, the mind comes up with these ideas. I have aftermarket 52 spokes for the rear and am now in a fix for running front wires. As mentioned above, pics would be great to see how wrong it looks - maybe nobody runs wires because of the looks so no pics are available.

    its a mix of 2 era's Wires are late 40's... Buick drums are early to mid 60's style..
    it just dosen't work for me.

    Just my opinion.
