Dear fellow HAMBers. I do not know if I am out of line here, but what happened to kustom enthusiast JeffSled? All of us who knows him also knows his interest and knowledge in traditional kustoms. Also owning a true fantastic 1949 Mercury kustom. Since last week something happened to both his avatar and also his comments. First I thought is was a joke, but now I am not so sure. For a guy that had the text "Bags are for groceries" under all his posts, to this comment yesterday... well... I may be the dumb one here, but hey... I can take it...
I guess i don't understand. he used to have a different avitar and he didn't like bags before? Now he has a different avitar and he is into bags or???
You know the old saying, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!" Hahahaha. Oh, it's just a matter of time that he'll be talking about the 80's graphic trend, Bravo!!! Ken
grocery stores like Jeff ,like bags too! They've always been a firm investor in bags though! my weekly metal work blog www.themetalsurgeon.com
Seriously, I did wonder about the headlights on the car in his avitar the last few weeks...not his usual taste... -Abone.
Ha ha... I already done that. They told me to call you. But you were busy for the whole 5 mins I could wait before posting...
I figured it was a joke... i hope! The last thing we need is one less traditionalist on the traditional hot rod and custom site.. we seem to be running low :/
"You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas; you've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone."
Give Jeff a little credit for having a sense of humor. God knows some of you folks on here could REALLY use one as well....
I can ***ure you he was Alive and Well Last Sturday Night, well kinda alive...not sure what happened to him after I got off the Elevator at our hotel.I didnt see him the next day...lol
Well, friends... This one woke you up anyway. I didn't say the man was dead, which some of you answers to. I just wondered what happened to him here on the board, since I miss having someone praying real kustom cars instead of saying AWESOME, DUDE! and BAD***! to just about anything that is shown up here on this board. I guess it's a joke and I don't mind if you all think that everyone should stick to their own business. But as some said, we need the few guys that carries the torch for traditional kustom cars. And it's not a whole bunch of us here. Good to see some of the real kustom guys showing up in this thread, anyway. Now we can just drop it and get on with our lives...
The quote "bags are for groceries".. is a toned down version of the original quote by Jack "from way back" Rudy.. "Bags are for weed." I hope Jeff is not Duct taped to a chair in some "air baggers" ba*****t, with tooth picks holding his eye lids open forcing him to watch as they log into his HAMB account and change his public opinion of adjustable suspensions.
X2 ^^^^ I nearlly spit my drink on the keyboard (again) damn thats funny!! Thanks I needed a good laugh today Brad!
Don't feel bad J.B. I was beginning to wonder what was going on as well. Jeff is definitely one of the backbones of customs on here and I hate to see him not digging the vibe on here as he would be a huge loss to this board.
Brad . . . It's great to see you're still plowing through the daily muck. Lots of us car enthusiasts ****tered around the world who hold you in high esteem.
If you have been looking for so long why did you take until this month to register? Honest question, your first statement was rather bold. And wrong. Bob knows some Merc stuff but I would say he knows ****ies better! Reality is, if you want to see more custom stuff, PARTICIPATE! Dont complain.
x2...post when you see good custom stuff, that will keep it higher on the page. Also, posting a thumbs up about someones custom thread or build will encourage more threads.
