The sad thing is that it's now all the way in Sweden fighting snow, cold, cancer, rot and rust for the remaining of it's life and not in my garage in sunny California where it would be warm and comfortable and driven daily!

Speaking of 60's styled T's, here is mine. Striving really hard to make it period perfect or damn close to it

There is a considerable difference between the cars that appear in magazines and the cars you would see on the street in the 60-s. In NY you had to have fenders in the 60-s. Never saw a fenderless car back then.

They had those laws in California as well.I was going to run front cycle fenders on mine but backed out.Still might someday.

Here in Queensland Australia we must run fenders and our hot rod committee that approves the cars are like the gestapo when it comes to any transgression of ANY rules. To some degree you would think they are anti hot rod(or at least a couple of them).Even at closed runs they lay down the law.I think it is a power thing.

A couple of the locals have made up little signs to put on the guards like "mudguards suck".Personally I like "fenders belong in guitar cases"

I don't mind the look of cycle guards on a channelled car and especially in the rain where no fenders make a rooster tail.

Here are mine. The rears still have to have the bead rolled into them.
They look good tucked tight over the tyre.

Here is a 100% 60's period correct ride, straight out of a July 64 Hot Rod. See caption at the bottom of the color pic.

Diamond shaped nerf bars and white fender wells...cool:)

What do you want to know? Built by Jokers cc member in Sweden. Finished by Teemu Tourunen, Pistons cc, in Finland. Then sold to France (if I remember the new country correct). Olds Rocket, race cam, 4 Strombergs, Edsel grill, '27 T Coupe steel body, scratch frame, Radir ribs, cheater slicks, manual trans, green flake, white naugahyde interior, angel hair roof insert. More sixties style than they ever used to be... :)
