    Hi Guys, I am ready to install my radiator support rods and firewall mounts on my 32 roadster, my question is do they go in a specific spot? I have a flat firewall on my 32 so nothing to reference.

    Could anyone be so kind as to measure where they have installed the rods on their car please?

    A B C D are the measurements i require, thanks in advance

    from Mass

    A = 1.75"
    B = 13"
    C = Center B
    D = 2.1875" from bottom of cowl band

    The way I did it was..

    From the center line of the firewall, measure 5.5" and 7.25" to each side of the centerline to give you the holes for the bracket.

    Are there fixed mounting points on a steel repro / original firewall?

    An original firewall is flat under the brackets (no dimples or holes). Holes for mounting brackets are drilled in original also.
