Oh, the memories. I just sent you a pm based on another thread in which you mentioned buying the Hupp. You can disregard the pm. I have a few parts (pair of leaf springs and some others) that I'd be happy to give you if you ever find your way to the Sacramento area.
I was a member of the national Hupp club for awhile, but the newsletter editor put a hot rod hater comment in when is listed my Hupp's original running gear for sale. Best of luck with your project.

While not exactly HAMB-friendly and definitely NOT what I'd do with a Hupp now if I had one, I doodled this Hupp-based screamer quite a few years ago. This was obviously inspired by a certain yellow Willys coupe that was in all the magazines back then. I thought the Hupp looked just as cool as the Willys and was even RARER! :D Good luck with yours, they really are a cool design!

I sent my check to the Hupp club as soon as I got the car home. I'll see if I run into the same attitude.

Now that is a cool design! You've got talent, rrbrucea! Thanks for sharing it.

How about a supercharger like Graham used on their flat head 6's....

Good idea! I had the same thought and have already started looking for a good Paxton VS-57. That would help out the 5.75:1 compression ratio. I need to take some measurements and see if it will fit under the hood.

Good time to revive this thread. 1934 and big car (T&O) models had different lenses than the later D G & N models which have a peak. Tough to find.

Here are a couple of my Hupps....

Tough car. They were at top buy in the mid '30s and very popular. The ones I remember seeing were always clean and sharp looking. If you have one my advice is look around first. Not many of these are left.
