I came across this: http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2010/08/10/gordon-v-gorgoni-streamlined-diamonds-an-ocean-apart/ I searched the HAMB and found two posts that mention the Gordon Diamond: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=7125825&highlight=gordon+diamond#post7125825 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2168599&highlight=gordon+diamond#post2168599 Question: What wheel(s) steer in a diamond layout? It looks like the answer might be in here, but I don't feel like reading it at the moment: http://www.carlustblog.com/2008/10/gordon-diamond.html
Just for fun, I ordered a brochure for the new Morgan three-wheeler. Very slick, very nice looking, and they start at $US50K. Gary
So after reading the majority of this thread and just wanting to do something a little different how does this sound. Rear frame/suspension 1982 GS1100GK, basic shaft driven coil over suspension. Front suspension and steering frame recent 2 wheel drive quad Engine 2008 Yamaha Raptor 700, 5 speed + reverse Custom frame between the rear and front end to seat two This will give me an independent disc brake front-end, reverse fuel injected single cylinder 700cc engine (that I already have). And the best part, I've got the expensive pieces already collected and the rest is easy to find on local craigslist. Maybe not very traditional in the parts department, but the body can hide a lot.
