Build thread????? Hell this here ought to be a movie!
"Watch as Dr. Steve takes the deceased body of decrepit old fat wino Fred and transforms his patient into Mega Porn Star Voluptious Gina."
Might not sell though, the story line is too far fetched to be believable.

Not bad the furnace heats the place up pretty quick...once I get the attic insulated it will stay warmer ...hopefully I can get at that before next winter, and I still have to insulate the other garage door as well....and I need a better 36" man door too lol ! But its good enough for me,I just dont want to paint if its below freezing I dont want to have to stay out and keep turning the furnace on/off never put a thermostat on it yet:rolleyes: too busy workin on the car !!

Nice metal work. Rusty tin takes a long time and a lot of patience to fix. Floors were pretty good at the start. I replaced everything from the toe board to the tool bed with the exception of the axle hump. I used some patch panels from EMS for the dog legs and 1/4 panels. Chop looks nice. I like the 59 chevy dash. Should be kick ass when done. Keep up the good work!

I hope we're not pressuring you too much. Encouragement is one thing, but jeez...lol. Kind of like a long distance runner gettin' pushed for a thousand miles by a bulldozer...lol.

Btw...kinda funny too...the guys that catch up on the thread..."I just took two weeks to read the whole thread, and...........lol.

And the comment on how this should be a movie: My feelings exactly...just didn't know how to put it into words!

Steve, are those Dodge Lancer caps on the front? Are those the caps you plan on using? Do you have all four?

And as always...nice work. - Rick

Thanks Rick, I think they are the cheapo Lancer repops, there are only 2 of them, they were on the 51 Chevy when I got it,but they wouldnt stay on the orig rims and I put some 14's on the chev. I just stuck them on here to hide the rusty ol rims on the front..not sure if I will use them ,I would like to find something a little older if I can..

    Thanks eh!!

Heres a few pics of yesterdays fun and games...I forgot to buy more activator for the primer, so it still needs another coat but it still looks better than it did. I will fill some pinholes and correct a few little spots before I get the last coat on, then the body work on the body shell can sit for a while as I move on to other stuff (no shortage of that!)

    Blurry lol

I sure like it when it's all one color. Even if it's primer. Yours to. Great work. Wish you lived around here.

I like big butts and I cannot lie,
    You other brothers can't deny,
That when a car drives in with a itty bitty taillight and
A round thing in yo face, you get sprung, hun.
I wanna pull up front cuz I notice that butt was stuffed. . .

    COOL!
A coat of primer is a wonderful thing for boosting the mood of a project. :)
    Looks good, man.
The skirts really add a nice touch.

As for the big butt.....I ain't touchin' that figuratively or literally! ;)

There we go!! thats looks the part in one color.. What primer are you using.. Up here everthing is changed now to low VOC and I find it hard to get a good hi build.. I been using Cars systems primer for years. sence they changed to low VOC it is no where as good..

  25. Looking good. The single color really brings it all together.
