My first chop ever.

    51 chevy 4 door sedan,made it a 2 door and chopped the top,my first chop and i like it.

    Looks good, proportions are right on. Are the blue doors from a 2 door hardtop, or are they coupe/sedan doors with the tops cut off? Either way, that's the best way to do it, gets the proportions just right.

    The blue doors are from a 2 door coupe with the tops cut off,yeah i like the proportions to its not to radical,just right.

    Did a lot off research before i cut it and a lot off testfitting the top to get the flow in the back just right.

    i thought it was photoshopped too.. how come you added a fuel door to the rear guard?

    I took the picture from the driversside and than i flipped it to match te picture above,thats why the gassdoor is on this side,pretty dumb but you get the point. ;))

    That looks really, really good. I'm always apprehensive opening threads with a title like yours, because of what happens way too often. Your research and test-fitting paid off big time. Proportions are just perfect...

    Its because the size off the picture,it gives a wrong impression i noticed it to but in real life there's no flat spot there.

    Thx,i didnt take much pictures so far,i always forget to take em and then when somethings done,its like damn forgot to take a pic :p

    That's awesome man, in planning on doing the same thing with my 51 4 door. Any tips or tricks? Anything that would be handy to know?

    Also do you have any pictures of as you were doing the 2 door. Conversion?
