here is a famous one.

 

A firend of mine got a call from an ld man saying he had a "Snowmfuwfeuf". My buddy got the trailer, thinking it was a snowmobile.

When he arrived it was a 1930's snow plane dismantled with the engine.

This front engine dragster would be crazy to drag race on snow or ice with.

There was a flurry of activity in the late '60s and early 70's with land (snow) speed record sleds. Lots of guys tried to set records. Arctic Cat built 3 sleds to compete for the record.

Really Cool Snowmobiles here. Here in Finland those may needed now. That Nash was really mine kind of style snowcat or SnowNash.

Completely by chance, I happened upon this photo recently and I think it's the winner, fer sure! It appears to be a winterized Doodlebug and very hot roddy with that rake and bobber bed. Gary

I took the picture of this snow rod at the King veterans home show. King Wis 2011

 

Could of used one of these with in the snow we got a few weeks ago.

I'm sure it would be like the snowblower,would use it once every 5 years and it would just take up space for the hot rod
