I learned it would have been better I had told my pop before he passed away that it was me (when I was 11 years old) that set his 56 Olds on fire (quite by accident).

I'll never know now if he knew.

Make memories folks! Share 'em, too!

I have learned that the hot rod stuff I loved as a kid is still loved today. Traditional is timeless...Thanks H.A.M.B.

That I ain't the only person out there who doesn'care much for billit aluminum or rat rods.
That I am not alone in thinking that a nice hot rod does not have to cost 89 gozillion dollars.
That spending time on a computer don't have to be painful.

I've learned that alot of people are quick to post "use the search function" instead of trying to help :D:cool::eek::D

The tech is the best, beating out bead rolls with round rod and a dead blow hammer is a favorite of mine, and I bet AutoZone sold twice as many replacement Aerostar coil springs in the past few years as they would have without the HAMB.

If you're looking for a more general answer, I guess I learned that great craftsmanship isn't always about being able to do something perfectly every time, but about being willing to re-do something you just did more than once to get it just right.

The biggest thing I've learned on the HAMB.

"To stand my ground, when the rats come crawling out from under their rocks". It's especially important when your first on the HAMB as a FNG. :D

I've learned that it's better to shut up and listen. Didn't really learn that here but practice it here.
I did learn though, that there's lots of history in the pictures. Study the pictures, and learn!

  20. Patience! Diligent use of the search feature will yield more answers than just randomly throwing the question out there. That opinions are like assholes, don't ask, don't tell. What I haven't learned is how in the world did they build hot rods back in the day without the H.A.M.B.

  21. I've learned to never throw anything away. Someone needs those left overs. The defination of Scrap Iron has gotten a lot smaller.

Takes all kinds to make the H.A.M.B. go 'round.

Yet we share one thing in common...traditional hot rods and customs.

    Long live the H.A.M.B. family!

I've LEARNED that I still haven't LEARNED to properly post pictures (and I'm not the only one with that problem!) I guess I'm a slow learner as a lot of other people post pics about every day...I've got some STUFF some Hambers might want but I'm not posting ads until I can get pictures up...Oh well, I'll just keep buying more stuff.
