Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum so I wanted to introduce myself. Just picked up a new project and looking forward to sharing the renovation process. She is a 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan with original 337 Flathead. Thanks! Amy
Welcome from just a little South of ya. How about a little more info as to what your plans are for the Lincoln? Is that avitar a photo of you and the Mechanic? The Wizzard
Right now just taking one small step at a time, not quite sure on my exact plans for the Lincoln at the moment. So many options. First thing first, converting 6-12 volt and remedying my grounding problems. "The Mechanic" is my boyfriend and my goal is to keep him as the teacher and put in all the mechanical work myself. He has is own projects so this little gem of a car is all mine!
Welcome from Tacoma as well! nice looking ride! I would just lower it and maybe a different paint job leave the trim and you have a nice ride. welcome to the forum.
Right on. This hobby has a lot of room for young Ladies that aren't afraid of a little Grease. Hope you enjoy the H.A.M.B. Your Lincoln and my 51 share the same basic electrical when stock. Mine is 12-V now with all stock gauges and switches and of course done by myself. If the 2 of you run into questions don't hesitate to P.M. me. I'm more than willing to coach. The Wizzard
Welcome from the dry side of Oregon! Big Luxo Bombs like your Lincoln just don't need much at all to look Way Suave' because they are cl***y to begin with; just very minor trim removal, shiney paint in an understated but tastey color, and down in the weeds, ...& you've got yourself a really Slidin' Ride! Good luck with it & enjoy! A pretty redhead in a Long Low Lincoln will be easy to remember & pick out in a crowd, if we cross paths at one of the many events here in the NW, I'll be sure to say hello!
