What do you guys got goin' on the bench???...
    Thought I'd start on a 1/8 BiG T build...
I primed up the engine/trans halves and also painted a set of Vette valve covers... Which turned out really nice... :)

The nomad olds or ole mad or nolds should have been factory built! Those are good builds. All of them

And since the first photos were taken I have added a black wash to add some more realism to the grille:

Here's my addition for this week. '49 shoebox, chopped, molded front bumper, chopped 49 merc grill, painted in alclad. I painted this last week, I'm finally getting ready to shoot clear. The car started with Duplicolor primer, to Krylon White Lacquer, then Testors White lightning pearl, the fade is Testors Icy Blue, Star Spangled Blue, Deja Blue, all decanted and Sprayed through my Paasche Talon.

Here's one I built back in 1987 when I was 17. it came in 3RD place a local model show that year. I just found it at my dads house, it needed a little TLC after my dad dropped it. My daughter and I have been rebuilding it and soon it will be back to show quality:). Hope you enjoy.:D

What blows me away in this thread is the fact one guy is building from scratch, another bought a die cast for parts, another is restoring one he did years ago.... modeling is really no different that the real thing.

Such beautiful work on some of these kits! It's nice to see a lot of the resin bodies and kitbashing going on. Makes me want to jump into some of my more involved kits, but there's never enough time in a day!
