Chopped, lowered, whitewalled. Fixed the hood, cleaned up some rust, and found you some side chrome in my garage stash.

I evened out the color a bit, but the stock two-tone just looks so good on this car, especially when lowered, that I just left it that way.

Here's a '61 Pontiac Parisienne Safari wagon that belongs to HAMBer LS7gto that he posted on the '61 Catalina Super Safari thread. Koolkemp commented on how he'd always wanted to make a sedan delivery out of a '60-'61 Poncho wagon and the rest was sorta inevitable.

And here's the chopped and lowered sedan delivery version using a hardtop windshield.
    I like the idea!!

Seems like I've done a lot of sedan deliveries lately. lol

Nailed it Eli!!! Thats the picture I have had in my mind for years :D Too bad the raw material to build one is so hard to find...unless I lived out west! It will probably remain a dream...but at least now I know how cool it would be!Thanks Eli!!

Here is what I came up with; wish I could have gotten the color and pearl highlights a little closer.

I seem to be on a little-Ford kick. While looking for some photos of a1954 Ford (US) I came across this '54 Taunus (German Ford). Neat car and rarely seen in the States.

    Anyway, I did a quick photo-custom.

    Here it is, before:

That's a 12M Super! I own 2 of them, extremely rare in North America!

I hope to finish my good one this summer, it was on hold while looking for parts, took me 14 years to get a windshield for mine but I just got it last fall! Looking at this I think I need to put skirts on mine! (and 13 inch wide whites)Taunus #1 in 1998

    Taunus #2 in 2008

I'm restoring #2 but want to rod #1 because it is very rough and I won't mind cutting into it.

According to the German and Chilean Taunus clubs I probably have the biggest collection of 12M's in the world (outside of a couple wrecking yards)... because I have 2 LOL

The rarer the car, the sweeter the chop!

Now there's a car that's crying for a sectioning job! The design line is nice, it's just too tall & too stubby [F to B] for it's beltline. The skirts & chop look good, but accentuate the need for sectioning, were I going to do one or the other I think I'd section it first, ...only my two cents don't ya know.

...and yeah, drop it a tad!

Cool little car, Reminds me of a 50's Ford consul I had once (4 door) Couldn't kill the motor. It say for 20+ years, I put gas and electric to it and she roared to life.. the stuff that flew out of the exhaust was ... amazing...

Rear fender raised, wheel well opened up.
Did they actually have high-top rear fenders for the big trucks?
Not sure I've ever seen one.

Didn't have the time last night, but I just had to, so here is my attempt.

    Stock

    Dropped

    Chopped and dropped

For a car with a 98 inch wheelbase and being only 13 feet long this would require me to sit on the floor and still have my head wedged in the headliner... LOL

On my real car I would love to put Packard tail lights on it, 54 Merc headlight rings, maybe the wrap around windshield from an early 60's Vauxhall...

I love mine, it sat in a sand pit in Devon Alberta for 28 years, dragged it out with a chain, trailered it home and gave it gas and a battery and it fired right up and ran perfectly, it's never ever smoked or anything!

thanks! I've had it all of 2 weeks! I like the astros on it, looks good. Just worry that everyone has astros and that an oddball car doesn't need "bellybutton" wheels on it. I like it alot though.
