Now I don't want to waste Anyones time so for those willing to answer what I'm sure is a very basic question I thank you. I will continue to search this wonderful forum for more info in all of the upcoming projects Ill have.

I have a 29 Model A Briggs, the brakes are toast but I also have a set of 47-8 front spindles backing plates & brake drums for it would I be able to use these spindles and use the Complete 5-1/2" Disc Brake Kit For Early Ford from Speedway to convert to disk brakes?

    Here's the link

    Thanks and hello!

Yes, but using the drums would be more traditional.

Speedway has adaptor rings (Spacers) for your spindles and 47 brakes.

  8. If you run '40-'48 brakes you can get an inexpensive adapter kit (about $25) and use you spindles. Remember is you use the '40-'48 drums you will also need spacer rings for the rims.
