The mention of Warsaw kind of threw me at first. But I do seem to recall that
Autro-Hungary was a very different animal in those days, boundary-wise. Any help?

Thanks much, back at 'cha. My primary was 11E, but I was assigned 11D (armd. recon) for both of my campaigns. Didn't even know what that was 'til I was one. (Sort of mech. inf./scout/cav all-in-one). We had 11Bravos attached, however.

go ashore on the smal island so he had go
with the ship to next harbour it was destined for

We have a revolver at home he bouht one time
to protect him self from the rough crew on a ship
he sailed home with from Stockholm when he had
to folow a ship there due to bad wheather
